What delusions?

What does Daniels have to do with anything? Doesn't mean Howard gets to start any sooner

I like how the Nuss haters have flip flopped and inverted their talking points. During the season while bashing Nuss you saw them constantly say it would be fine if Nuss left but if Howard left it might be troubling. Now that it’s happened they’ve just completely changed their narrative.

He is just not a good QB. At all.

He had the 2nd or 3rd best QB season in LSU history

And the guy at #2 (Jamarcus) had similar complaints

What?

Just because JD5 is better than Nuss, doesn't mean Nuss is terrible or worse than Howard

I said during the year I thought Howard was more likely to go b/c he's still way behind Nuss. He may have only gotten 1 year of starting (with a Redshirt). That stuff doesn't happen in modern CFB.

If Howard would have waited Nuss will eventually be No.1 next year as teams next year figure out how to beat JD

1 injury away from Nuss!

True but I’d much rather see them compliment each other for a season.

No I just understand stats.

Burrow is clearly #1
#2/3 is up between JR and JD

Then you have a lot of competition for #4 and era comes into play

So, you believe if Daniels had entered the draft, Howard would have transferred?

Its a good question, but I think he would still go portal. This decision wasn't about Daniels, it was about Nuss. If he thought he had a chance to beat out Nuss, he likely stays. We can assume he isn't going to a P5 team and expecting to start next fall so he is likely thinking '24.

I really wish he wouldve stayed and tried to to that here, but he obviously thought it wasnt worth the effort, or that he wasnt going to be given a legit shot to do (tin foil hat shite if you want to go that route).

Exactly

Howard, as shown in the bowl game, would be a disaster starting in 2023, which is JD's last year

Too much cognitive dissonance for the Cult of Nuss to think that their boy could be to blame here.

So LSU is now the Mecca of college QB play? That's a joke to be sure. JD is not a championship QB. You will get a firsthand view of that, again, next year. Wait and see. I have no idea what kind of QB Howard will turn out to be, but will everyone here give BK a pass if he goes to an SEC school and tears it up? God forbid he goes to the gumps.

If there is no competition, why would Nuss stay?

If Howard was in line to be a backup next year, he wouldn’t have left. He was going to be pushed to the back for another year and decided to roll out

How would you rank the top 3 LSU QB seasons?

Do you think Howard is a "championship QB" in 2023?

If not, what does Daniels have to do with Howard?

Not a Daniels issue
