Only 4.5 sacks in college.

6 already in his rookie year.

Poor coaching development in college, or different scheme in pros? What say y'all?

6 sacks is good, but he's not Von Miller or anything.

Is his rookie year.

Also, he should continue to gain mass which may help.

Go back and read some of the reports about Hunter during camp. They roast Chavis and Brick pretty good.

Definitely not coaching. Miles and Co. are the best of the best and LSU cannot get any better. If the players would just buy into the system, LSU could get to that next level.

Scheme. Chavis' bend, but "supposedly" don't break.

The coaching development of both Hunter and Ferguson has been questioned publicly by both of their NFL teams.

Pretty sure Brick sucked at his job while he was at LSU.

Miles took Brick to kick rocks so it seems your bitching is misplaced.

Love that people down voted coaching as a response when there is literally an article where a Viking's coach basically says what Hunter was taught in college was wrong.

Thanks Brick.

It's a mix of coaching / developing players and scheme.

There was an article this football season where the Vikings coaches said they viewed Hunter as a project because early on, he didn't have that many moves and struggled with technique. And they didn't understand how a guy his size with his athleticism struggled to get after the QB in college. Pretty much said he wasn't coached properly.

He's finally getting proper coaching and playing in a good scheme that allows him to use his freakish size, length, and athleticism and is thriving out there in the NFL. Didn't take long for him to figure it out either.

Gonna be a stud.

LSU is starting to waste defensive talent too. Can't let the offense have all the fun

Brick was a terrible defensive line coach. I would go out to practice and some ga would be running the defensive line drills. This year, it was coach o teaching and the ga holding the blocking pad.

Les kept Brick around longer than he should have, and didn't intercede when it was obvious that the dline was regressing. Les is there watching practice how did he not see that Brick wasn't coaching. As far as kicking rocks, he didn't fire Brick, he kept him on staff at full pay in an administrative role and Brick left on his own for... UT LOL sucks to be a longhorn.
