I remember when I was young, and had AOL, not a real internet connection, way before the days of Rivals, or tigerdroppings. (around 1994, 1995, etc when I was a young lad)

Back then all you had was the dandy one.

RIP!!!!!! You are one of the truest tiger fans ever dandy don, always optimistic.

The Tiger Nation lost one of It's best today. One of the kindest and genuine, honest and humble men that God has ever graced our Earth with. Im glad he was recognized at The Box not to long ago. Sad day but I know it makes everyone feel better knowing he is reunited with his wife Joy. What a man, Long Live Dandy Don

I was fortunate enough to visit with Don via email when my son was being recruited for college football, and I enjoyed his kind and encouraging words. He was a family man, who loved his wife and children, and was one of the greatest Tiger fans ever. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his family and may God bless his soul with the reward of those who believe in His Son.

Los Angeles alumnus & Tiger fans are all heart broken as our prayers are with DD and his family.

We will never forget how he published my son's name with hopes of attracting LSU's coaches to his track achievements, although he ended at UCSB.

May the angels lead Don into Paradise, may the martyrs come to welcome him and take him to the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem. May
the choir of angels welcome him where Lazarus is poor no longer, may he have eternal rest. Amen.

We will miss you dearly DD and know you will pray for us and our tigers, from far up, and above.

This is Sad news to me. I started reading his blog just about every day since about 2002, even while deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. He will be missed, God Bless his family during this time of loss.
