I really don't want to hear Bill Franques make that call any more. As good as he is at The Box, he's just too upbeat for Death Valley.

A little off topic, but one afternoon probably 15 years ago, I was listening to Rush Limbaugh and this caller had this distinctive voice which I thought sounded very familiar to me….. it was Borne’. Unmistakable.

Bill is a true LSU man and always steps up when needed. Hell, he has even filled in on PA for women's basketball games. But I think LSU will look for someone else.
If they hire the clown who does women's basketball, the band coming down the hill, and a few others things, there should be riots.

One time I was at a graduation party and Borné was there. There was a restroom in the pool house. It was large, but only for a single person to use obviously. The door didn’t lock, though. I was taking a piss and Borné opened the door. He saw my back, as I was midstream, and apologized. Such an iconic trip to the bathroom for me.
