Just rewatched the highlights, everytime we got gashed by the run, it could of been avoided if he got the tackle. Coaches got to do something this week

He’s consistently not in his gap. Right now, he’s the weakest link on defense.

Would like to see him move to DE and Jacoby to LB. I don’t think either one fit what they are being asked to do in this defense. May be too late for these kinds of moves though.

Leave the kid alone. The coaches will make the adjustment. The number 18 is about leadership, and I’m sure he and Curry will be leaders moving forward.

You can’t ask a kid of his skill set to scrape outside and run sideline to sideline. He needs to either be a pass rusher or be a true “mike” backer that plays A gaps only. Maybe just against heavy formations. Remember Cox from the Jets?

Definitely got better defense once they pulled him, but they had alot of open WR their qb just couldn't get it to them

I honestly thought he would be the break out player of the year. Smart,has size, speed, character and we switched to a 4-3. I guess you can say I was wrong. We absolutely need more production from our MLB.

Yeah that all sounds good, but at the end of the day he can’t make routine plays that need to get made and it’s a big part of the defensive issues we have. Curry is also disappearing from the field if you haven’t noticed.

The defense has real problems with pass coverage. So many times receivers WIDE open, but the QB didn't see or did not connect.
Damone is not getting it done at the Mike. He needs to move.

It seems that way. Unless there is some underlying scheme that isn't apparent, he missed several assignments.
