He must have been playing in a different game!!! The Game I saw him have, he was caught up in the wrong gap play after play and stuck in traffic. Thats just crazy to say.

There is really some next level, fricked up shite going on in this program if a player who had that bad of a game is making comments like this.

4-5 tackles, maybe more, could have been at or just beyond LOS instead of 20 yards down the field had he done his job right

The guy did provide some evidence that there were a bunch of tackles made within 5 yards of the los . He isn’t great on run fits though that’s for sure.

And whoever said the guy was a walk on tight end is wrong about the quality of that tight end. That tight end is the best in college football and is certainly a top 2 round pick

Delusional. LSU will face better TEs this season from Bama and A&M. I’ll bet that fella from UCLA isn’t even top 10 at his position when the draft rolls around.

He has no field vision or awareness! He is always out of position

That #18 can run once he figure out who had the ball.

What a weak defense.

The fact that these dolts thought otherwise tells you all you need to know about their opinion. But really, some of the most impressive plays to me were the rundowns. Incredible speed and endurance for a ~245-pound LB.

To put the 14 tackles in perspective, the last time there was a total that high was the 7-OT game vs. Texas A&M. Devin White had 17, and JaCoby Stevens had 14. (Both finished regulation under 14.) The last total that high in regulation was when Devin White had 14 vs. Arkansas in 2017.

That's about as far as I'll go with a critique here, because there's way too much unfair criticism from people who don't know what they're talking about. I think it's partly because he's wearing #18, so people are putting too much blame on him for overall struggles on D.
no I'm putting as much criticism as he frigging needs. Dude played all last year and looked just as bad as the other LBs last week.
