I think cox coverage skill will be pretty good he seems to move well but clark and baskerville seem slow . Marcel brooks transferring will be the big hit. he was so fast and explosive.

And Brooks is barely playing at TCU. 1 solo tackle and 1 assisted tackle in 2 games. His transfer will remain one of the most puzzling transfers of all-time.

The LB group hasn’t been near as physical as last years. It’s noticeable, hopefully they get better in their run fits and play faster and stronger at the point of attack.

Just doesn’t seem to seek out contact or swarm tackle. I’m not watching him on every play but just don’t see him trying to punish ball carriers.

Clark doesn’t have the Devin White/Patrick Queen quality where he’s firing downhill like a rocket yet. To be fair, neither of those guys really had that their first year either. I think mentally it takes time to adjust and take the right angles.

Devin White was a killer the moment he set foot on LSU campus. He was game ready as a true freshman, and played a good bit at LB. He was a MF on special teams, too.

He plays timid, out of position and scared. He tackles after the initial tackle has already been made. He's learned nothing from the greats that's played MLB before him or maybe he just doesn't have it in him. We should play one of those freshman. He looks lost and confused.

Has Coach O mentioned his play at all in any pressers? Has there been any talk about moving him out?

He had to have some tremendous practices to get awarded 18. I'm not sure what is going on between his ears, but physically he looks over matched.

Devin White was clearly blowing up plays as a freshman wearing #24. Yea he was criticized for being out of position and taking bad angles, but you could tell he was a destroyer as a freshman. I’m not sure on Clark yet.
