Good grief. Y’all need to get over it. If he played for LSU and smacked Milroe like that, y’all would defending him to no end.

Bama and Turner had no way of knowing that Campbell was going to whiff on the block so no "hit" was put out by Bama on Daniels

While I agree with the rest of your post, this bit needs some perspective:

Luck, in many respects, is defined as what happens when preparation meets opportunity.

Regardless of whether or not Saban put a "hit" out on Jayden, it's pretty obvious that he wasn't interested in coaching his dirtiest player to abide by the rules.

So, when Turner got "lucky" and Campbell whiffed on the block, the thug took the opportunity to do what he's been prepared to do since the first game of last year: annihilate the opposing QB by any means necessary.

L'il Nicky may not have specifically ordered a "hit", but I have no doubt that Turner knew Saban wouldn't look cross-eyed at him if Daniels was carted off the field in a neck brace.

Just my opinion.

Delusional thinking! Think like Saban! He thinks all possibilities and thought LSU could make a come back with Daniels! It was possible! Not saying greats odds, but possibly! Saban doesn’t care if you’re up 30 points, he plays like the score is tied all 4 quarters! Period! You should know this about Saban!

It was a planned, calculated hit. Dallas has done it too many times. You’re not even making sense. Took the opportunity? Lol They were gonna make an opportunity somehow some way AND you can bet your arse the refs were told not to call it targeting too! If you think that the refs just so happened to not call it targeting too, you’re delusional!!!

All of this is beside the point! It was a dirty, illegal hit and they got away with it! No team is perfect but they have mother Fkn rules for a reason! To protect player injury! If they’re not gonna protect our players, then why tf should we get out there and play and be Fkn fools and the punching bag to Bama and the SEC refs??? Is our QB life less important than a Bama player? Quit being a Fkn wimp and taking their BS! Stand up for your Fkn team dude! This is what’s wrong with LSU fans! Bama fans wouldn’t Fkn take this BS!!! Stop blaming LSU for their fk up! I swear y’all make me sick on this page something’s with the Fkn oh let it go pussy arse mentally!!!

Well, I actually agree with you. If you didn't get that I was poking fun at the person I replied to, then sorry you didn't get the memo.

The only point worth making is that it was a deliberate, illegal and thuggish hit. That doesn't change whether or not it was a Code Red ordered by l'il Nicky.

Lacking definitive proof that the hit was sent in from the sidelines, I'll go with this: I believe Turner intended to get a hit like that in on Daniels from the beginning of the game.

Saban knew that Turner is a dirty-arse player with a history of dirty hits on opposing QB's, knew that he probably intended to pulverize Daniels in the same way, and he did NOTHING to discourage him. Nor did he do or say anything afterwards to make me feel like he gave a good goddam about what his player did to our QB.

I don't care if the despicable little twerp told Turner to take him out or not; he's responsible for what his player did - full stop, no exceptions.

Not preventing something bad from happening - when you know it's likely to happen - is just as bad as actually making it happen.

True he is a thug. On that play he committed 5 fouls:

A foul roughing the passer
A foul targeting
A foul for driving a QBs head and body to the
ground after the play was over
A foul Landing his full body on the QB after
the play was over
A foul for intentional trying to injure a
player

For these five fouls Turner should have been
kicked out of the game and suspended for the
rest of the season including play off or Bowl
games. That is the only way to stop this bad
behavior.
