I lot of people have given him shite as a whiner etc, with the Rodney Dangerfield act but I thought it was brilliant attempt to keep his team motivated.

His Comments included -LSU played with Character and class, clearly best team, feel great for Coach O, one of good guys in business etc, they made the plays which it what Championship teams have to do, they deserved to win, etc. (Just getting to watch it again on TV) If you don’t like him for some reason you should watch it online.

Except that it took him about two minutes to even mention LSU. So classy.

Ummm he coaches Clemson. He didnt have to address LSU at all. Wtf do u expect? He was gracious in defeat. Worrying about How long it took him to mention LSU is petty.

You can be a great guy and still be annoying. I would guess this is how most people feel about Dabo.

When your opponent takes a knee on first and goal inside the 5 yard line what do you expect him to say? Did Kirby Smart have anything to say after being dominated like that?

It was.

And as annoying as his "Aw Shucks, poor Clemson" routine was in the weeks leading to the game - that was his job.

Solid Coach.

Dabo and most of the Clemson fan base have always been pure class. People saying otherwise were just caught on the hype train.

Dabo going into the Syracuse locker room to congratulate that team after they humbled Clemson in 2017 is an example of the character Dabo brings to college football.

Glad the championship game was coached by two men of character.

Dabo and Lawrence both were great sports in their post-game interviews. Both good for CFB.

I don’t dislike Dabo, and his “whinning” has merit. Dude does what he has to get his boys ready. Might be one of the classiest to ever do it.

Yeah I mean they won 30 in a roll and most by 30 points or so, so he had to come up with something to give them a edge, plus it was really aimed at Georgia, and I think we all know why

I hated him on Dec 29th, but the hate died last Monday night. I feel the same way about him now as I did a month ago. Good dude, even if his schtick makes him seem a little whiney at times. He does it as a part of keeping his team competitive.

Lawrence was amazingly poised and classy for a 20 year old who had an extremely tough game.

Dabo was far and away the classiest coach in defeat this season that I saw. Far cry from Gus and Mullen.
