This is my point. What’s the difference? Texas isn’t winning a title because they are simply ot good enough. So if they played Rice they would now be preparing to be run out of the playoffs…Fun! But they did play OSU…also Fun! What’s the difference?

That was more him deflecting and throwing a dart behind his back and managing to hit near the bullseye rather than him being prescient. We’re talking about a man who refuses to fix his roster with the best means available after 4 years of watching other teams do it successfully.

Again, this is a stupid fricking argument. These games are scheduled years in advance and are now REQUIRED. If you scheduled Texas Tech or Indiana 4 years ago thinking they would be a pushover, guess what. Same for scheduling Clemson as a power OOC Game and getting the 7-5 version.
You can’t predict who will be what years out and these games now HAVE TO BE ON THE SCHEDULE. Every year.
