Their list.

LSU as the number 8 overall, matched with UVA's regional.

Edit: Projecting South Alabama in Baton Rouge. Guess we'd have to chalk that one up as a loss.

I'm kind of surprised they have ULL in there. And there is no way the committee would send every other LA team in the tournament somewhere other than Baton Rouge.

It's an "if the tournament was seeded today" which I can't argue with. Kendall said yesterday on the radio that the SEC will only get 2 seeds at the end of it.

I mean I know we joke about having teams like South Alabama in the regional after losing to them. But, Va seems like a pretty good team.

When you get to the super regional you are going to be playing 1 of 2 types of teams.

1- A very good baseball team, who has been pretty successful all season long.

2- A very good team that has flown under the radar, and is now getting super hot at the right time. And who also just knocked off a very good baseball team, who has been pretty successful all season long.

I would say they can be considered a top 16 team at this time.

There are going to be good teams even ones not hosting. Va is just okay IMO. They're 6-7 vs RPI top 50; 3-6 vs top 25. That's hardly any games and hardly any wins.

Baseball America's is out as well. LSU not a national seed, but is paired with the 8 seed, which means we're knocking on the door:

Stanford would be a National Seed that would have a good chance to lose the regional.
