D1 Baseball Updated Projections

I don’t agree with some of these projections, but wanted to put this out here for discussion. Currently has us going to Hattiesburg as a 2 seed, Clemson as the 3 seed, and Belmont the 4.

Look fwd to hear their podcast this wk to hear the thought process. Must be leaning on RPI.. but how many times has a top 4 SEC team not hosted??

I wouldn’t mind this tbh. We seem to play better on the road.
If we host, we most likely get paired with Tennessee in the supers. We need to go on a tear in the SECT to get 14 seed or better.

In the NCAAT (basketball) they have penalized teams who has a stud who was hurt late in the year with a lower seed.
Would they consider Berry missing 6 games (and our 2-4 record with him out) and move us into the T16?
Berry plays and we don’t go 2-4 in that stretch.

Well, the 1 seed in any regional will not be easy to beat. If I had to pick one from that list, Southern Miss (as a 9 seed) would be near the top of that list. Get out of that and we have a shot in the Super as well against aTm or Texas.
Maybe the Ga Southern regional would be a bit easier to win, but the prize for winning that would be Tennessee. No thanks.
