We going to Omaha if that is our pairing. No disrepect to southern miss but we aren't losing to them at Alex Box.

I know USM has been hot lately, but they only have a few quality wins and I'm not that impressed with their schedule. I don't follow many teams outside of the SEC to know how talented their roster is though, but having said that I couldn't see them being as talented as any of the other regional host teams listed. I'd rather be matched up against them than a more battle tested team.

Our 4 seed could literally be anyone. I figure our 3 seed will be an instate team (McNeese, LA Tech, ULL) and the 2 seed will be a Texas team or Oklahoma

At this point doesn't ULL have to win their tournament to get in? 52 RPI with 91 SOS. No way they get an at-large, but D1 has them in it that way. Pretty sure we get McNeese.

They haven't been to an LSU regional since 2009.
Before that, the last time we played them was when they came here for the Super Regional in 2003.

That's what I thought at first but I didn't see Coastal or S. Alabama which would be the other two possibilities. I'm not sure why they wouldn't put Coastal in as the automatic bid since they actually won the regular season.
