NT
No. 99 Greg Gilmore 6-4, 308, SR
No. 95 Ed Alexander 6-2, 339, SO

RDE
No. 90 Rashard Lawrence 6-3, 300, SO
No. 96 Glen Logan 6-4, 315, RSFR

No. 92 Neil Farrell, Jr 6-4, 287, FR
No. 93 Justin Thomas 6-5, 277, FR

LDE
No. 18 Christian LaCouture 6-5, 292, SR
No. 97 Frank Herron 6-4, 312, SR

No. 92 Neil Farrell Jr. 6-4, 287, FR
No. 98 Deondre Clark 6-4, 268, SR

LSU will be adding Breiden Fehoko and Tyler Shelvin besides the recruits from this year's class.

Better or worse?

I think it's a toss-up. Gilmore and LaCouture have been impressive.

Can Aranda find someone to replace these guys?

Better overall in terms of quality depth. Gilmore, Herron, and Lac have played very well though.

Middle will be better, edge rushers have something to prove.

Why would you say that? Losing two seniors on the D-line?

I think the starting line will be better, but not as much depth.

My concern (at a glance) is that it appears 3 of the top 4 guys are better-suited for NG (Fehoko, Alexander, and Shelvin).

Because Lawrence and Alexander will be healthy, Fehko is a known commodity and a very good DL and Shelvin is a mountain.

Because the two who will replace them are more talented and they will be 3rd and 4th year players respectively, so it isn’t like they’re inexperienced. Lawrence will take another step forward.

The key will be for people like Logan, Ferrell, Thomas, Shelvin, or others to be able to provide quality snaps in the rotation.

Same or better. Getting Shelvin at NT is important. Fehoko should fill Lac's role

We need to develop the DL depth like Alabama. We depend too heavily on our starters and when they come out there tends to be a drop off.

Gilmore and Lacouture have given us a lot of snaps this year but i think we will be better next year on the DL. Fehoko and Shelvin will be huge additions.

Fehoko will step right in and replace Lacouture. Shelvin is a welcome addition. You have some talented d-linemen coming in and they could will add some depth. I think they'll be better.

I wouldnt go that far, they have played well in spurts, but next year will be much better without them.

Early in the season they were getting destroyed but starting with the Florida game they've been playing the best football of their careers.

I think it'll be more stout. If guys like Glen Logan and Neil Farrell take steps forward we'll have a lot of depth.

The nose tackle duo of Alexander and Shelvin will be hard to handle for other teams which will make life easy for Lawrence and Fehoko

I think Dare Rosenthal and Davin Cotton will be really good coming in as freshman too
