What a great example of how a program can be elevated with facilities equal to the competition.

Our family has been involved with the program since its inception. DD is every bit of great as advertised. Sad she's not going out with a national championship, but it's time to give the program to Jay Clark

The sad part is all the upvotes. DD is a great coach, but she’s never won a National Championship. That means no statue.

Well shite then we better start taking down those statues of Shaq and Pistol Pete then.

Coaches are not players. Different standards.

DD has had 40 years to win a title. Pete and Shaq each would have had, what, three?

Congrats on being dumb though.

Couldn't agree more.

Love DD as well, but after patiently waiting his turn, it's Jay's time. Timing couldn't be better for a transition too. DD goes out with consistent sellout crowds in the PMAC, especially for SEC meets. And now with COVID challenges on attendance, Jay will have his opportunity to repack PMAC after the dust settles.

Win-Win.

True legend. They need to build a gymnastics building and name it after her. 43 years! That is just crazy.

She won the Natty in 2016. We all watched, and it was pretty obvious.

I’m all for naming the beautiful training center after her, though!

So you're saying, one of the Greatest Coaches in the HISTORY of their profession is not good enough.

Can you elaborate on what standards do your employer holds you too?

Disregard my previous question as you have already shown what type of employee you are.

The practice facility hasn't been named after anyone yet.

... It will.

Finishing as close as they did the last couple of years in a sport that is judged to within percentage points doesn't take away from her not having a title.
She had plenty of individual national champions which is just as impressive in a sport like gymnastics.

I met her and she is very genuine and one of the most positive people you would ever be around.

No she didn't win a title, she did something bigger she built the program. She is the program.

43 years. What a run!! Hard to believe she was hired at 23. Couldn't imagine being that young and head coach at a major university.
