Damn good job there by Newman, all things considered

Jesus f'ing Christ. It's the second inning and you act like we will lose 7,000-1. Let the game play out and relax. Yall all ask 18-22 year olds to be perfect at all times. These kids are trying to play their arse off. It means more to them than it does to you but you don't understand that.

3 straight walks, they get 3 runs. Walks always kill you. Gotta get em back now!
ETA don't forget our run was from a walk too. Walks = Runs almost always.

Keep in Newman PM, his curve is working well. Don't go to Bain just because. Ride this out.

now the bats have to crank back up

Oh lord, Bain and his 6.75 ERA away from Alex Box this last month is warming up.

Foster, Bregman, Fraley due up in the top of the 3rd

CPM should have warm someone up at the first sign of trouble. He still waited to long.
Was my only point. There is no tomorrow. It was clearly obvious he had lost it in the second inning. I get baseball very much Catholic. I know it takes a while to warm up. My point is that there should be someone ready to go at all times in a game like this. Not wait until the bases are full.

Thus game he should have had someone warming in the pen at the start.. no pitcher was expected to go more than 3.. so why is your entire bullpen sitting in the fricking dugout?

It makes no sense to not start Bain in this game. He has the only chance out of anyone left for us to go deep into a game and keep us in it. This TCU team already showed Manieri that playing the BS lefty matchup is for midweek MAC teams. Pitch your best
Person has been pretty good at times, especially against lefties. I think person was our best option available for this game, he just didn't have his best stuff tonight.

How bout we let this one play out first. We come back again here & we could have Bain for Vandy

I would keep Newman in, but no doubt Bain is the one coming in next inning
