One of the so called excuses for poor kick coverage was that due to lack of quality depth, starters who usually played on special teams as well were being rested; resulting in younger, more inexperienced players being on the field. They were the ones supposedly always drifting away from their lanes on coverages. FWIW.

BDP is not only the worst coach on the team, he's one of the worst coaches in this country as well as one of the worst coaches in the history of LSU in recent past.
his ST are abysmal this year, they were an embarrassment when he was here prior, and his year as "co" DC still gives me nighmares. I dont give a flying frick how good of a recruiter he is, that is no excuse for the waste of space he takes up on our coaching staff
he should've never been given the opportunity to coach here before, he sure as hell didnt earn the right to return, and he definitely has no business on our staff today

For his recruiting we need to keep him in some capacity. With the staff limits we can't do this but ideally we'd bring in a new st coordinator let bp recruit and coach lbs and aranda do his thing over multiple personnel groups. Bp had great lbs when he was linebacker coach

He was a great coach win you won it all. ST didn't lose you a game all year. You got beat my 2 teams better than you in Bama and Ole Miss, Arkansas is no excuse. But I'm willing to bet Arkansas didn't beat you by 2+ td's because of ST. Maybe because you cant move the ball and couldn't stop them.

yeah, I'm sure favorable starting field position had nothing to do with that
