We are better than last year.

Y'all are not. Y'all were about like us last year. If we don't give up broken plays, we win by 10 or so.

My 60-year-old father is more of a troll than I am. He introduced me to dial-up modems and bulletin boards back in the day.

Hard to believe such smack talk from a team that routinely loses games at the beginning of the season to good teams and has yet to win a bowl game under your current coach.

I can't see LSU scoring many points with that crappy QB. Oregon will do their damnedest to stuff the run; it's going to be a very fast defense. Jefferson sucks, and he's not going to magically get better.

God I hope Oregon's coaching staff feels the same way. If they game plan like this then LSU dropping 30-40 points is very likely

Did you just respond to my post once, then go back and respond to it again? Odd.

Not really smack. If you put a gun to me head I would probably pick LSU by 3. I have respect for that D.

Just this idea that you're going to roll some pussy west-coast team is probably misguided.

Going to get my material for this thread in the event of an Oregon win -- you know, to gloat like a punk. Don't disappoint me.

We would think less of you if you didn't.

By the way, I am anticipating a tough game in which LSU pulls away after injuring half of your starting lineup.

Fair enough. Has it occurred to you that Ricky Heimuli might damage your QB? Crap, nevermind, that might make you better...

Deja vu to what Texas A&M fans were saying before last year's Cotton Bowl. How'd that turn out?

The A&M game reminded me so much of the game against Georgia Tech a few years ago. The announcers were all geeked up to demonstrate how these up and coming programs were going to beat an established power. Both times the gimmick squads were beaten down soundly.

Oregon is much more established than either of these teams, but it does rely on a lot of gimmicks and high fashion clothes. I'd put my money on the smash-down team, not the team with the fancy uniforms.

We say that because we know you are replacing three starters on your OL and five of your front seven on defense plus are losing your best CB due to suspension.

Excuse us for salivating at the idea of what our veteran and talented OL will do to your green defensive replacements.

A tested QB (better than yours) and the best RB in the country.

Who scored 19 points on Auburn.

I think Oregon's biggest concern should be stopping the run late 3rd quarter into the 4th.

We have a long tradition of guys coming in for injured starting quarterbacks and winning player of the game honors. Jefferson has made mistakes, but he is durable.

If you can't throw the ball against Oregon, you're going to lose -- period. We'll see.

37 points isnt that much with this D. Giving the O good field position and then a score or two of their own and 37 is easy to get to.
