It started as a football chant. But that shows how much you know.

Well, I'll agree that it's a football chant, just not the one it seemed you were talking about.

ETA: LSU has never used it for football, and that's not really debatable. Nor has anyone on campus used that chant prior to 2010.

really lol. what ive seen, what LSU did, is very minor compared to what even bigger basket ball schools do in their student section. They have a college that gives insite into the others teams players personal lives just to make up chants to get into their heads and they post it in the schools paper so the students see it. and screaming hows your grandmaw? to kids whos grandparents just passed away. throwing bananas at black players. the list goes on. so in my opinion LSU kept it pretty PG.

This happens every time we play Alabama at home in football, why is it such a big deal that students speak what they feel?? Bc i promise everyone was thinking "f--- you buddy" after he hit some of those 3's, the student section brought the noise like y'all wanted and yall are still complaining. The Deaf Dome was alive bc of them saturday evening. Call them classless all you want, but to me that was a hostile environment and I loved it

as an opposing fan, i loved it too. it was fun as hell in that place on saturday. the chanting doesn't bother me all that much, but i could have done without throwing shite on the players.

I agree with you on that. Throwing things at place is a little trashy. no reason for that

yeah, the funny part was that, from what i saw, nothing actually got anywhere close to hitting the players. most of the stuff just landed on students who were sitting down front.

both teams played a great game. Y'all put the ball in the stars hand at the end of the game and we didn't. That was the difference

Maybe the away tunnel shouldn't be right by the student section.

Just a thought.

students would come to the games more often if they arranged the seating for them. Only like 100 students get to sit at the bottom. That's not good when you have more students in the top deck than at the bottom

"Cliffs"

-Young kids at the game parents trying to explain the "frick you" cheer that kept repeating
-The player getting F bombed had his mother there. She flew in the from the Bahammas to see the game.
-National tv audience hearing us cursing the player for no reason other than him being talented. The sound came thru the broadcast clear as day.
-Other top teams won't want to subject themselves to this kind of treatment and won't schedule us.
-That it motivated the opponent and player. You could see the look in their eyes of pissed and wanting revenge on the floor.

Overall, that the students made the entire university looked like crap and should be embarrassed.

I agree, unless you're one of the first in line you're going to be in the upper level. But I really don't think LSU is going to move us back to courtside
