Nice spelling but if he said it, that means it was in the Prince's binder.

Culotta also thinks Orgeron was the best possible hire for LSU.

The backup QB is usually the most popular player on LSU's campus.

I like that right now part.
Give me Etling for one more year then Brennan for the future
Scott hopefully gets his chance though

Don't sleep on Scott, that's all I'm going to say. Have you watch that true freshman at Alabama? The only knock on Scott is his height which is complete bullshite.

He is really good. He had over 5,000 yards (3,000+ passing) and 61 TD's his senior year. He is also a leader from what I hear from my friends that work for the team. The only knock has been his height. I believe that with a person like Kiffin running the offense, he would shine!

Short quarterbacks are never going to make it. The verdict is still out on that guy on the Saints.

He may very well be especially in the spread. However, it would be foolish to think that he would be more successful than Etling has been in the current offensive scheme or any pro-style attack.

He might be. He will get his shot. No red shirt next year.

If LSU moves towards a spread offense next season, I'd be willing to bet that Scott looks marginally better running it than noodle arm Etling. I think the question is will O make Scott the starter if he deserves it? Or will he continue Miles' tradition of getting stuck on a QB and sinking with him?

Best is a relative term, but I think I get where he is coming from.
Unless you happen to possess one of 2 or 3 NFL arms at the college level that are also mentally prepared enough to face a Saban defense, your QB needs to be a viable running option.
Etling and Harris have not proven to be QBs that defenses have to respect as rushers, and this was most evident in the FL game when we faced their goal line defense.
Based on Scott's HS film and reports from scout team performances, it is likely he may be the only QB on the roster that fits that scheme.

I'm not sleeping on him. I have a buddy that coached in HS and said the he will be the real deal. However, I just wanted to make another binder joke.

If he's that good and smart, pull his RS for 2nd half vs Bama
