Warren Buffett's house is my favorite place to eat in Omaha.

If Mamou food ain't good enough for you please let me know where to go cause I likes that cooking!!!

In Omaha I'd go Steak and Italian with pizza on the side.

This is true in places north of I-10 as well

Reminds me of the time the late great Justin Wilson described a place as being " WAY up north, around Alexandria."

For steak I go to the Drover. Barrett's is Barrett's and has great sandwiches. Brickway is fun because it's a distillery and a brewery in one. There are solid Irish Pubs with good food all around the city it seems.

There's a brewery and pizzeria next door to the stadium now too. I believe Zipline is the brewery and Rocco's is the pizza spot. There's a cool music venue there as well called Slowdown.

Last time I was in OMAHA I invited a local friend to take me to a steak house and I would buy him a meal. My jaw dropped as he pulled into a Longhorns parking lot.

If you're tailgating and grilling, find a Fareway grocery store. Their meat counter is full of great beef and pork. You can't go wrong.

Holy cow, how were you able to get a case of Blantons ?? In Reno at “Total Wines” I would have to put an order in for it and it could only be for one bottle if they could get it. I think they would only order for certain customers.

I’m more interested in who has the best steak or hamburger in Omaha!

For a burger, try Sickie's Garage on Cornhusker just east of Hwy 75/Kennedy Expressway. Get the Sickie's Burger. They also have an eating challenge that would put you in the hospital if you even came close to succeeding.
Another good burger is the Hangover burger at 72 Tap and Table on 72nd St - just south of L Street. You'll wish you were drunk after finishing it. 72 Tap and Table is a pretty decent sports bar to throw back some brews and grub.
