Is what Les is screaming.

Edit: Proof

Sorry I'm as bad at video taping as Miles is at clock management. This was an HD feed on an HD flip, hopefully it gets better in quality when it's done processing.

I added him asking the cop if we had a timeout for comedic value.

I didn't read his lips, but his right arm was most definitely saying clock it.

I did, and he said "clock it" 3 times.

This problem wouldn't have happened if Les wasn't stupid in wasting a timeout with that "offense looking over to the sideline for the play" shite

Even if he did, it was 25 seconds before the spike actually occurred.

No way he was saying spike it when they actually lined up.

yea, CST definitely showed it better than CBS... the same way they seemed to have better shots of the Alabama non interception.

He wasn't then. I was there, and after he finished doing that "spike motion" with his arm, he frantically started kicking his leg in what I can only assume was a call for the kick team. Regardless, this last second play wasn't the difference maker. It was the 17 secs that ran off the clock on the previous play.

Thats not the issue at all if he did in fact say it, the issue is he gave multiple interviews where he claims he never gave any spike call or signal

CST also showed that the clock had :02 on it, until about 5 seconds after the end of the play, when it mysteriously changed to :01 while the refs were only halfway to the new 1st down mark. What was that all about?

I really posted this because of everyone claiming that when he made that motion he was saying Toliver was down, which is wrong.

In another thread, someone posted that an observer on the sidelines claimed that Miles said Toliver was down (motioning). Not sure that's any better, but...
