Football 0101: Article in The Advocate by Dubois with Crowton explaining the running game numbers.
"Hester, now a rookie with the San Diego Chargers, had 225. His role as the short-yardage back had a lot to do with his average of 4.9 yards per carry providing misleading ammunition to the crowd who wanted to see the other backs get more touches than Hester."
Hester

I think he was misquoted

Do you only start threads about our former white players?

Man times are slow, if you have something to add it's an open board. If you enjoy being critical of posters then have at it.
I didn't realize the Scott was white. I'm sorry to disappoint you but it appears that he will be the short yardage back this year.
Since this topic has been the subject of a lot of debate the last couple of weeks I thought some might find it interesting what Crowton had to say on the subject. Maybe some would rather argue than to get Crowton's opinion.

Its probably to balance the number of posts by some of our more esteemed posters in the 50k+ category who have a strange need or obsession to make post denigrating achievements and results of recent former white LSU football players.

Why do you care? Are you a trouble maker?

just making sure. i don't see the uproar when JR is downgraded to make Flynn look better but the first hint of saying Hester isn't Jim Brown and half the board is ready to draw knives.

I'm just pointing out an obvious pattern.

Very much so. Where've you been?

Could be that so many others don't join in because that's so absurd--the assertation, not that people don't post that. Russell ,barring injury, will be in Canton one day.

Wow...no need to actually start a few games to be declared a HOFer now?

this is the same paper that did a "honest" preview of all the DC candidates a month prior to the hire and basically shite all over Jon Tenuta and all kinds of others and said under Doug Mallory's negatives "none" even though he had no experience. They're just passing along someone's agenda.
