You realize he fricking left 9 years ago right?
This is getting ridiculous.

I know all of you want to act like he hasn't had a lasting impact on our program, but he has.
I'm not giving him all the credit, but to act as if he deserves none is silly.
There is a reason that he has turned around every program he's gone to.

As it is to not give Miles the credit he deserves.

You obviously don't like the guy for whatever reason.

Maybe you and White Tiger should go bowling.

I literally called it an opinion and never implied it was a fact. You even quoted me on that.

Again, it's about Miles because he is the coach. If someone else was the coach, it would also be my opinion of him. I don't know how I can make that any clearer. I base my opinion on his record.and full body of work. I'm not even sure what you base yours on. Bad games and Saban's record at a different school? Forgive me if that makes no sense to me.

I always give him credit for being an elite recruiter.
He is one of the best in the business in that regard.

I don't know of one LSU fan who doesn't give him credit.

You are right...Bama is 2-3 in the regular season vs. LSU since 2007 and therefore NS deserves credit for helping LSU win 3 games while he was coaching Bama.

Who here has done that? I'm not sure where you are getting any of your information. You confuse giving Miles credit for his job here with giving none to Saban.

Les Miles has a background on the offensive side of the ball, yet that is perpetually the weakness of his team.
Name any elite coach that this is true of.

Like I said, it's foolish and silly (to use your own words) to only single out Saban as far as an elite coach.

Miles also deserves major credit as a coach yet some, like yourself, already have their mind made up and will roll over in your grave before you do so.

To me, that says a lot about who you are.

Many don't want to say it,I think they believe openly giving him any credit is somehow disloyal to the current regime.
It also is hard for them to admit that any part of Miles' success here stems from his predecessor

We've had some great offenses in the last seven years. We are struggling this year for sure, but I wouldn't call it an epidemic at this point. The potential is there, we just have only seen flashes thus far this season.

If you consider Bob Stoops elite, he is one.

ETA: I know Bob's background is defense, but it still works.

ETAA: Oklahoma's Defense has only been ranked in the top 50 twice in the past 5 years.

Why is it that big of a deal for you to have Saban get "credit".
He's gone. If you are an lsu fan, what is your motivation for propping up Saban and constantly shitting on the current lsu program? It's nonsensical.

It's not about giving credit.

It's about the simple fact that you still can't move on from that guy after 9 years. 9 YEARS!

I'll say it. I give Saban a lot of credit for what he did here. I really do.

Why it's like pulling teeth to give Miles credit as a head coach for some people is juvenile and silly.

He's singled out due to him being the head coach directly before Miles.

Great recruiter, has hired coaches well for the most part, and that's about it.

You can be a fan of LSU and also criticize the head coach, who clearly has some shortcomings.

LSU has one BCS championship (with Saban's players)

Ths comment always makes me laugh because Saban took over Dinardos players in 2000 and won 3 years later. This means the 4th and 5th year seniors were from Dinardo. But nobody ever says Saban won it with Dinardos players. Get off Saban's nuts. The dude bolted. Im sure Bama would accept you as a fan since you obviously worship their coach. People like you should get their LSU fan card revoked. Douche bag
