Those of us that are in our 30s, 40s, or 50s grew up in a much better time and were exposed to superior music, movies, TV and pop culture. I am very glad that I was born in 1971 and have seen and done what I have! No way in hell would I like to be college age in 2008.

The sad thing is that you "mature" 40 yr olds are shallow enough to be offended by this guys remarks, and feel the necessity to defend your age?!?!?(I'm 40)

I'll give you that it was a better time, with superior music, but it's laughable to say the Tv and Movies are better. Not a chance in hell on either. Color Tv kicks arse, as do CG and other effects. Not to mention better acting.
And it's pretty cool to be a college student these days (granted last year was my last college year) not to many people can say they were in college while LSU won 2 football national titles

it really confuses me that so many of you care SO deeply about what other people wear.... i think i may wear my 03 LSU jersey with my name on my back ...
