Maybe the better question to ask is whatever happened to Peyton Todd? He was all everything in high school and hasn't seen the field yet in two years.

Yeah he seems to be the special teams version of Kardell Thomas. Hopefully he can put it all together after one more year behind Bramblett.

This doesn’t strike me as “criminal”, or even surprising. If you sprung the question on me, and I didn’t do any research (I haven’t), I would peg him at just above the SEC average.

In never worry about these pre season list and all the watch lists make our weather forecasters look accurate. The only thing that matters is actual performance after the season is over.

My point exactly. He's been on the sideline for two years. With his credentials, he should have been the starting punter as a freshman. Is he hurt? What is the reason he was surpassed by a portal transfer? Was he not as good as advertised?

All 3 punters ahead of him had better net punting yard averages last year. His avg was 3 yards higher than the A&M punter but LSU gave up way more return yards.
The schmucks who vote probably just listed their ballot by net yards for returning punters, which is probably what I would have done.
This is a common theme I see, people looking at things in a vacuum without comparing and contrasting.
Example: Player x should be the #1 WR recruit in the country… well have you actually seen the guys rated ahead of him?
