Bad comparison. Miles never once threw a player under the bus.
PM once threw his whole team under the bus.
Can’t respect a man like that.

I would answer no. No he's not the best. I do think he is good. But, I truly couldn't name who the best is, so my answer may not hold much value.

Mainieri has as good an argument as any active coach in the country

He’s never known how to manage his bull pen.

Then how in the blue frick did we get to the championship series through the losers bracket with one of our starting pitchers going down in the first couple of innings of our second game? Sure, players came up big, but players have to make plays regardless of the decisions a coach makes.

Same way he blew it keeping teachers too long in several years back in Omaha.

Then the year East Carolina won too.

when did that happen? Did you mean Coastal Carolina, the team that beat us in the Super Regionals and then won the national title? Was it inexcusable for every team they beat in Omaha as well?

Jesus. Some of you people were ready to anoint Cannizzaro.

And don't get too hung up on the big name. When Tenn named Serrano their HC most figured he would light it up in the SEC, he was coming from a stout CSF squad with a fraction of the non scholly resources.

The truth is college baseball is way more even under the new scholarship system. Talent is spread much more evenly throughout.

This year LSU has been hit by the injury bug worse than we've seen in a while. I'd agree Maineri has made some very questionable calls, but at the end of the day when you are as depleted as we are, you gotta try em. Sometimes it doesn't work out. This year is that year.

We were in the CWS final last season. Chill the frick out.

This is going to be at least a 25 loss season and I don't expect any coaching staff changes or difference in the record next season, he needs to hire qualified coaches

Do you know why Walker was hurt? Well I do and it was the coaches faulty. Do you even talk to any of his former players?
