Are you kidding me? The same ref was calling it for the Gamecocks, too. Fontenot and Beck both stunk, just as they did against Tulane. Our pitching is so inconsistent and our hitting isn't up to par with other teams in and out of the SEC. The bats get hot every now and then. Young or not, this team should be better at this point.

Beck has performed all uear long, and he had a bad night. You don’t give up on a pitcher because of an off-night.

I still didn't understand why Bush couldn't go one more or at least go with Kodros who has been the most consistent lefty out of the pen thus far (outside of Bush). They rocked righties all weekend, so I just didn't agree with that move. Talking about firing CPM is just silly. I have no problem with journalists grilling him though.

Bush should have went another inning or until he got into trouble
I get why they pulled him though, prior to Sunday his longest outing was 2 innings & highest pitch count was 46

I also think we should quit referring to Bain as our closer. God bless him for how he has helped as a utility player, but he really isn't a real closer. It's hard to be a dominant closer with one semi-effective pitch.

Gilbert was done after the second double know there was an error, but the writing was on the wall and CPM let this lead go, he is a coward of a coach sometimes
