He's supposed to like it?

Many, many of PM's players "don't like it" when he does this shite. Most of them didn't quit... although they often leave as early as they can. Others are forced out. And some actually do leave without warning: Godfrey and Byrd for example.

Yes. We don't win the game scoring just 1 run regardless of that play.

That's not even all he blamed. But people can take one quote and turn it around. He also said our hitting sucked pretty much. But let's only use this one quote as to why Paul said we lost.

Paul doesn't know how to sugar coat. It's the participation trophy people who get butt hurt over it.

How is a direct quote, in context, turning it around?

But yet constantly he gets top 10 recruiting classes. If you don't like it go to another college. Yet they come here knowing this.

You all turn it around as to this is the only reason he said we lost. As in thread title. It isn't. He said others right after it.

Again and again and again, this isn't about the harshness of it. Get that through your dumb, thick skull.

Finally people are seeing it!!! Thank god. LSU can do so much better. He's constantly out-coached.

Lol. Sorry for directing it mostly at you. Obviously u see it like it should. I'm still pissed at the opposing teams coach from my sons coaches pitch game last week. Clapping and high fiving and saying great swing when his kids struck out. Ugh!

The quote is... "Basically, we lost the game because our first baseman didn't keep his foot on the base on a routine play; on a perfect throw."

He is literally putting it on that one play. He goes on to say State's pitcher was throwing junk and we didn't hit it hard. But those were general comments about the game; things we could all see.

What's funny is that in that same video right before the Deichmann comment, he praises Lange saying he couldn't have pitched better. But if you remember that inning, the run would not have scored either if Lange doesn't walk the bases loaded. Why didn't PM chide him?

He also referenced how the other pitcher was throwing junk and we couldn't hit. Not sure we can throw guy under the bus for allowing 2 runs 1 unearned I think and 4 hits.

I agree with this Ball. Kids today just come up with an entitled attitude and folks all walking on eggshells around them.

I have my issues with PM and yes there were other reasons we lost last night. But ask some of Bertman's players some of the things old Skip would tell them. I know quite a few former Bertman players and not all of them loved the old legend.

So you aren't reading my posts. Got it.

I'm not sure how you can throw a guy under the bus for making an error when you choose to play him out of position with a better defensive player DHing.

The player retweeting it is owning it, I assure you.

Nobody is more aware of his situation than him. Knows he's out of position and that it's a way to keep his stick in the lineup.

He has a lot of potential, but the margins are small at this level. Raph Rhymes can have the single best batting average of all time in LSU history, and still set a record for GIDPs.

Bregman can reach Ben McDonald status and still not square up to a routine ground ball in the biggest game of his life.

It's baseball.

Mainieri's instincts when it comes to handling a pitching staff are questionable at best, but in regards to this situation, I wouldn't read much into it.

This has been mainieri's MO for 10 years now, it is nothing new. He will always find someone to throw under the bus before himself taking the blame.
....recruits must find this behavior from the HC really compelling.

When can the players speak on camera about the failed 14,000 hit and runs that Paul loves to call just for the coaching satisfaction that he lauds himself for the 4 that actually turn out productive? When can the players speak on camera about Mainieiri's constant struggles in handling relief pitchers? When can the players speak on camera about the ever winding windmill at third base that runs us out of many big innings?

And when will the TD admins offer an apology to Harry Coleman Beast who got banned long ago for calling Mainieri a POS?

They didn't lose because of the foot off the bag. They lost cause they flat out didn't hit when it mattered. Blame the hitting Paul not the foot off the bag.

Lol. And none are saying anything. Wonder why. You constantly bash Paul. For you it has to be personal because half the things you bash him on are retarded. Would you also like Paul to give them cupcakes when they strike out? I guess you got scolded for sucking.

I thought the Great Santini passed away on a mission a long time ago. Didn't realize it was actually based off of a real-life ranter poster from the future.
