The problem lies in the dollars involved.
College sports coaches are the highest paid individuals at the university which counters the entire reason for the existence of higher learning; the advancement of education and logic.

don't hate the player, hate the game. Get someone to change the schedule issues of College Football and you won't see shite like this happen again. But until that changes then you can't blame the Coach.

If you watch the whole video, that is exactly what he says over and over.

Absolutely spot on . The NCAA created the mess . With the perpetual portal and endless season with playoffs and NIL , it is like pro football without any rules . Don’t blame the coaches for looking for a better job .

Yeah, one guy on there said if you are going to act like the pros and pay players, then you need to have rules like the pros about things such as tampering or when coaches can look for other jobs. He hit the rules for both the players and coaches.

Ole Miss threw Kiffin a lifeline when his coaching career was in the dumps and he was relegated to FAU
If Ole Miss didn’t hire Kiffin away from FAU, some other P4 school would have. Its what happens with coaches doing well at G5 schools.

And you conveniently forget that Ole Miss’ football program was in the dumps when they hired Lane. In the 4 seasons prior to Kiffin arriving, OM had gone 5-7, 6-6, 5-7, 4-8

If you want to say OM pulled Lane out of the dumps, then you have to say Lane also pulled OM out of the dump

He needs to direct his anger at the NCAA and their cluster frick of a calendar.

You have early signing day before conference championship weekend AND the transfer portal opening a few weeks later while teams are still alive in the playoffs.

The January transfer portal window screws players on playoff teams because they’re put in the position of having to enter the portal in the middle of a playoff run or wait until after the CFP when their potential transfer destinations have mostly filled the position of need already.

And the NCAA and TV networks are pushing to expand the playoff field, which means more teams will be put in these kinds of positions where coaches and players have to make decisions about going elsewhere while their current team is alive in the CFP.

NCAA needs to fix their calendar. No more early signing day. Transfer portal at the end of spring semester.
