Hell no. I don't want Meyer anywhere near this program. Slimeball and you can't count on him for shite.

3. You implied that Tim Tebow made Urban Meyer. That is ridiculous - although having Tebow surely didn't hurt Meyer.

This is also not taking into account Cam Newton. How about if he isn't a cheating thief? Could have easily been more than 2 titles.

He hasn't won a single NC without Tim Tebow playing meaningful snaps. That doesn't mean that Tebow made him, but Tebow shifted the balance of power in college football during his time at Florida. This year made that blatantly obvious.

I don't have too much of a problem with Miles at this point. It's the OC, who's name shall not be said, I have a problem with.

I guess the same could be said for Les Miles and Matt Flynn.

It sure could if you wanted to ignore the obvious fact that no one would have ever confused Flynn for the most dominant player in college football.

Cam Newton didn't play when Meyer was winning his NCs.

one conference title in 18 years

true BUT he coached against the great Bear - who cheated his arse off recruiting. It is like Rupp at KY. Cheated his arse off.
Mac averaged almost 8 wins out of a 10 win year. not bad.

I think CUM deserves credit for recruiting and developing Tebow.

how is recruiting and developing star recruits a bad thing? it's something we've been lacking as of late.......especially on offense (see sheppard, russel and toliver, terrance). not to mention he'd bring a competent offense system.

of course you take urban meyer over miles, anyone who wouldn't is a ranter.

He is a good coach.

This is a major douche statement. Meyer is a major flake. He can't even decide if he wants to coach, which I see as a MAJOR problem. Do you not see how that would hurt recruiting?

The ONLY coach that I'd take would be Patterson from TCU if there was a choice. I'm in agreement with the others that mentioned that Tim Tebow was the difference maker for Florida. I think the same thing about Newton at Auburn. Don't think Chizik is near as good a coach without Newton.

Tebow.

He made Alex Smith the 1st overall pick in the draft after making Utah the first "BCS Buster"

He won at Bowling Green and Utah, finally got a job at a school that can actually go to the BCSNCG and won it. Twice! He just wins. If not for Bama, they'd have won it last year too.

Good points. I'd just as soon stay with Miles.
