Saban will do everything he can to stop Fournette. I expect LSU will use a ton of qb zone reads tonight. This will open up Harris to gain alot of yards on the ground and keep Bama def guessing all night. We have not used the zone read alot this year, but this is the game it can be very very effective. Harris can keep that def guessing and light it up in the air leaving receivers with single coverage down field.

We won't start the game like this. But if it gets close/behind and running is ineffective. This is likely the game plan.

But as usual LSU football will try and impose their will and run it down your throat.

As the O-line goes Brandon will go, and I have all the faith in the world in that line, so... I've had the pleasure of watching Brandon on Friday nights through his high school career and now watching him on Saturday's and I can tell you we haven't seen all he can do, he's a very special talent. Considering we've seen some (very little) of it, to me they've been setting it up all year, Jennings came out and ran more than ever last year (effectively), and JJ had success with it except for one game in Jan 2012...

... I'm thinking we see some scripted to at least test the waters.

Oh its absolutely going to be scripted. The question is will they actually let BH make the read or will it all be predetermined runs..

I do think you will see Harris featured more as a running compliment to Fournette today. LSU really has only sprinkled in some run plays this year for Harris, but he is really underrated as a run threat, not sure if opposing fans realize how strong of a runner Harris actually is.

I think they let him make the read; that was one of the earlier "shortcomings" mentioned by CLM/CCC and they've obviously been working on it. I do think they have limited actual reads vs called pass/run to situational. But I THINK have seen more and more reads as the season has progressed. This game is what that was all about IMHO.

Miles and Cameron have to have confidence in Harris to make the correct read. Zine reads are not meant to be scripted.

Miles will not allow Harris to lose us this game, we have two of the best running backs in the country but harris will need to make a few plays in the second half for us to be victorious. I

Zone read? I really hope not. Harris is a true soph and he isn't strong enough yet to take the punishment.

We have the best running back in the game to go with the best o-line and several other good rb's backing up Fournette. Let them do the running.

Bama is expecting the run....to beat Bama, you have gameplan against them. Running the same offense is not the way to go. LSU needs to give them a different wrinkle. You dont think a Saban led defense is prepared for the offense we been running?
