Could LSU Basketball Beat Southern This Year?

I'm honestly not sure if the team that showed up today or for most of the season could beat our neighbors from the north. At least Coach Roman Banks has those guys playing hard on both sides of the ball.

Also, this isn't a flame. I'm honestly not sure if we could beat Southern. Most likely Victor would get in early foul trouble, and then we wouldn't have any advantage on the boards. So maybe we get an early lead, then Victor gets his second foul about 4 minutes into the game (that's generous that he could go that long without two fouls). Then Southern would keep it close throughout the first half and go on a run before Jones would finally call a timeout (probably about 3 possessions too late if I had to guess). Southern would go into halftime fired up and with a 8-10 point lead.

Then after the half (we of course wouldn't make any half time adjustments and Coach Jones at his halftime interview would say we are playing super hard and just need some more shots to fall), if we didn't make a quick run to take over the game, the team would just quit or shoot a ton of 3 pointers, which we are terrible at.

Southern wins.

I'd say Vegas would have this game as a pick-em.
