Could it be any more obvious that the anti-Lane/anti-LSU talking points all come from…

…the cesspool of a state Alabama?
Going back to last December when the announcement first broke, the most outraged person on Game Day was Rece Davis. Herbstreit really didn’t say much. Nor did Desmond. And McAfee doesn’t know shite about college football. It was Rece overstepping his role with the outrage. Then, in support, you had Alabama puppet Finebaum chiming in as well at every opportunity…as he still does today. Even McIlroy got into the act. So, it wasn’t ESPN as much as it was the Alabama homers at ESPN.
Fast forward to the present and now you have Birmingham-based Sankey and Birmingham-based author Talty trying to tear down Lane/LSU.
These inbreds were fine with Lane at Ole Miss. And, they were fine when they thought he would eventually go to Alabama. But, when he went to LSU, all hell has broken loose. And, we all know why.
So, while OM and Tennessee have axes to grind, they are the useful idiots in the Alabama-based campaign to tear down Lane/LSU.
