I guarantee I'm more educated and have a higher IQ than you. The more intelligent one is, the less likely he is racist. You fail that test up front.

My point is that if Americans actually follow the failed Progressive tripe that Reid peddles they are likely to find themselves LESS happy, LESS successful and further away from their original goal. He is a MORAL IDIOT posing as a wise man. He is harming people. Especially black people who believe that anything good can come from Progressive Identity Politics and racial schism.

The recipe for success in America remains the same as it ever was; Tolerance and goodwill for others, obeying the Rule Of Law, working really hard, educating oneself and most importantly, making sure that your FAMILY is rock solid. That's it. Not embracing the politics of Victimization and viewing life as something that happens to you. He's preaching victimization and that's the path to despair.

What you said couldn't be truer. Unfortunately, half of the people who read it will disagree and call you a racist. The Progressives have been brilliant in accomplishing their objectives thus far. And it's only going to get worse.

If E Reid would give us his plan for equality for all then I would take him seriously. With his money why doesn't he run for office in say, Jackson Mississippi, then show us how its done. Once he establishes a proven plan, we can all jump aboard the train and live happily ever after.
He sounds a if he recognizes Jessie and Al are getting old and there is an opening for a new leader for folks who are not willing to compete in society.

Wow...you should take your brilliant IQ and go make a difference in our supposed unjust society instead of complaining and griping about how things work....the politics of grievance....your kind doesn't want race relations better, 'cause if they were, you wouldn't have anyone to blame any more.

The law would be illegal on its face if it treated blacks and whites differently.

You don't say?

quote:

it's the enforcement of the law that is the problem. Every metric shows blacks receive harsher penalties for the same crime. If you really believe there is no difference, you need to do some research.

In a subject matter littered with the number of variables and subjective analysis as this, you can't state unequivocally that there is systemic persecution of blacks in this country due to racist police, DA's, judges, etc. Arguing that sentencing disparity exists between blacks and whites is not the same as arguing that blacks are being targeted and murdered in the streets with impunity by systematically racist and homicidal agencies. If you establish the matter as not up for discussion and smear anyone who disagrees as a likely racist, there is no dialogue to be had with you.

quote:

Again I am addressing fair minded nonracist people. You may or may not fit in that category

Anyone who takes issue with my unassailable arguments, which I have not backed up with facts or evidence whatsoever, is an "unfairminded" racist. Reasonable enough.

quote:

I didn't mention Sterling or Brown. Or the guy who was shot in the back. Or the one in Minnesota who had a concealed carry permit and was shot in front of his fiance and baby. Or the 12 year old shot in a park. Or the police department in Georgia that was filled with white supremacists who planted drugs and guns on black people.

As you then go on to list all the attention grabbing media cases. But you weren't referring to Sterling or Michael Brown, the two most sensational cases. One of which is the one that prompted the demonstrations in the NFL. Cases which were explicitly mentioned by the Kaepernicks and Reids and the BLM movement's most highlighted incidents. But no, you weren't referring to those. Do you acknowledge that the suspects were not gunned down unlawfully in those two cases? That their own behavior reasonably and justifiably resulted in their being shot dead? Please, correct me if I was wrong.

quote:

However I recognize that hate rots brains and blurred vision.

More insinuations that people that don't share your extreme view must be filled with racial hatred. Your childish argumentative style precludes discourse. Grow up and look in the mirror.

The GM's and owners have a right to choose their players based on talent and baggage.

Good for him.
I hope he gets a fat contract. Forget those that don’t understand.

Very well written.

The only people who care at this point, are so hopelessly lost in political fodder that they can't even think straight. Idk what's worse... SJW's or the "2nd amendment is the only amendment" crowd...

The fact that he is reaching out to Dutchtown PD or APSOs to do a basketball tournament to raise funds and help with training is more than just kneeling. Taking action means something.
BTW - when the stars stop acting, then the directors can’t make a film worth a shite.

For any white person to claim blacks are treated no different that whites, like some of you are alleging, is asinine and disingenuous. Every metric on life in America clearly shows life in America is totally different between blacks and whites. Unemployment? Blacks twice that of whites. Sentencing? Blacks receive much longer sentences than whites for the same crime. Drug use? Whites and black use drugs at similar rates Go to drug court and who do you see? Mortgages? Whites who are less educated, with less income and lower credit scores get loans approved over blacks.

You forgot one major metric.
Murder:
Blacks killed by whites- 2%
Blacks killed by police-1%
Whites killed by police- 3%
Whites killed by whites- 16%
Whites killed by blacks- 81%
Blacks killed by blacks- 97%.

Just mentioning facts that you must have forgot to include in your racial equality metric system.
