If they made Javi head coach
Javi could probably step right in and coach the defensive secondary better than it currently is. Two seasons of Burnt Toast and yet Miles doesn't feel a change in coaching is necessary there.

Oh yeah, gotta keep those great recruiters on the staff, even though they can't coach their way out of wet paper bags.

National 14. SEC West 3. More Chicken and Steak.

Grimes and Fournette to the rescue!

Head Coach: A.J. McCarron
OC: Cam Newton
DC: Ha Ha Clinton Dix

Yeah...That would probably do it for me.

My loyalty is not derived from people. LSU represents more than just the people running the institution or the ones attending it. For me it represents our region our home our neighbors our friends and our families. Even if our government was overthrown and the university was run by foreigners, I would not give up my loyalty to LSU.

Honestly i see a lot of people saying something like a PSU scandal, but really i don't think that would do it for me

I would hate those individuals, but i am from Louisiana, i went to LSU, and i am more of a part of it than the people we employ.

I know PSU is a little different considering how long JoePa was there

If Miles was accused of raping kids in the locker room and the administration tried to cover it up, I'd probably stop.

ETA: I didn't read the thread but apparently a lot off people thought the same way.

I survived 21-0. I think I'll be okay.

Nothing that's likely to ever happen.

One thing that bothers me is how miserable and negative so many LSU fans are about the Tigers

Its a "negative" world we live in. So, it follows that LSU sports will follow the same path. A positive thread appears here and it either will last 2 pages or it gets side tracked into something negative and goes 20 pages.

I suffered though the 80ies and 90ies as a LSU football fan. NOTHING is gonna stop me from riding this current great period of success for as long as it remains!

50+ years of personal investment as a Tiger beginning as a toddler in Southdowns asking the babysitter where mommy and daddy were, and she saying hear that noise? They're at Tiger Stadium.

So no.

I grew up as a LSU fan, but I live in Alabama about 30 minutes from Auburn, so I got convinced by my friends to be an Auburn fan. Also the negativity with LSU made me not care much about LSU anymore, and Auburn fans always try to think on the up side of things even when are not going well

If LSU became 'The U' from the 80's I would probably find myself watching every game, but rooting for the opposing team.

Why so much hate for JJ? Sometimes that hate comes across as racism. Sometimes others view the board and think its a bunch of white folks who love a black as long as he is doing well. But are quick to throw him under the bus when he is no longer of use to them. JJ has been long gone yet LSU fans continue to bash him!! The honey badger is another example. So called LSU fans bash him every chance they get.

2/5 in my opinion, was due in large part to the perception that LSU fans don't stand behind their players.
