It was so hot that day

Was in the stadium that day. Tiger Stadium at its finest, before the plague of early departures and indifference. The crowd chanting "L-S-U!" after the long Georgia screen pass TD late in the game was one of the more rousing moments in Death Valley history. And of course, the eruption when Mauck hit Skyler on an improvised bomb with a rusher in his face.
