LSU had 6 guys get a start at least 1 game at Safety last season and only 2 of those guys are gone.

Safety is just like any other position on LSU's defense where many will get opportunities. Having 4 guys returning who have experience is huge.

Thompson, Martin, Jefferson, and Mills will all get on the field a lot

last year was a revolving door at S but it wasn't because our coaches wanted it to be. lack of production, injuries, and some off the field issues were the reason for it.

Hopefully we can find the best 2 and they can settle in asap.

I'm going Thompson and Jefferson. Adams gets worked in.

Mills for me just isn't good enough. You have to have a short memory. You can't throw your arms up in the air every time you get beat.

Can anyone confirm whether Mills made the official switch to safety?

He's not good enough to play corner for me. I think with an offseason of work he could be a damn fine safety.

This. Mills played very, very well at safety last year with little experience at the position.

Other than that personal foul in the bowl game, Mills looked pretty damn good at safety.

Agreed. Mills was outstanding at S. Will be surprised if he doesn't start.

He tore his acl and meniscus, doubt he plays vs Wisconsin

CT's future for this coming season has of yet to be decided other than he will not play in Spring Game, he should be release to go somewhere around June or July and a decision on a r-shirt (if needed) will come during fall camp but if he is not r-shirted and don't get injured in camp he will play the Wisconsin game it the home town and it will be hard to keep him off the field that kid love's H-Town I am still surprised that LSU was able to steal him from A&M.
