That’s it.. Stevens

Dude was out of position due to his size. He probably should have been a LB his whole career here.

The only better hire would have been Ron Cooper.

Ron Cooper doesn’t want the headache of a Power 5 job because he would have one if so.

He’s currently HC at the prestigious Long Island University.

I’m happy to have Raymond back. Great recruiter and has the ability to coach well, lotta people wanted him as DC years ago before his last couple years came off the rails a bit. LSU fans were pissed to lose him.

The timing is weird though. Have to believe he wasn’t the first choice. He’s been available for a long time, has ties to the university and the new DC yet it’s only just announced. Feels like we probably were shooting for someone higher, didn’t work out, and came back to Raymond at the end.

I have faith it’ll work out tho

Much better than the DB Coach we had, but I would have loved to see Chevis Jackson come home as the DB Coach.

I'm not crazy about this hire but I'm not dreading it either. Let's hope BK can rehabilitate Raymond from his last few years of very sub par performances into the type of coach and recruiter we know he can be. And hopefully he's been humbled a bit and won't try to hold us hostage every year.
