If you get this Williams and shores, and the Evans we got Monday, Cowans slip isn’t nearly as significant.

I think there were also 2-3 left hand batters too which probably played some role

Cowan- Righty
Cooper- Lefty
Needed a lefty and there was not much if any scouting info on Coop(that’s right we’re close I call him Coop)

I said the same thing to a friend when he came in. He has a small sampling but when he's pitched he's pretty much been on. I think Jay won't hesitate to bring him in if needed regardless of the situation
I think it’s about 95% about trusting him to throw strikes.
He’s going to Williams if he needs strikes and some length…or just needs a left.
He’s going to Cowan or Shores if he needs a strikeout.
Rizy is probably handled like Williams.

That WVU's line up was stacked with left-handers?
He faced a LH first, but the next batter was RH and he stayed in the game. And of course he stayed and pitched for an extended time.
I can 100% guarantee you Cowan would have been the call a month ago.

I thought the same thing last night. Their pitching styles are pretty similar too

Hes come a long way this year. His first appearance he looked shell shocked.

It was nice to see someone else emerge. It certainly makes it harder on the opposing teams to prepare for so many variables. Now let do in Geauxmaha what we did at the Box and roast the razorbacks.

What I love is that everyone knows how Coach feels about his pitchers.
