The head coach doesn't make that call

When charges are made, it's on the authorities...right?

You can criticize the coach if a player plays while stuff is "suspect"...but the coach doesn't get the player out of spot like that

It says more about FSU putting the atletics ahead of the crimes more than the coach. coaches dont have that much power.

Fla. St. University would be as culpable as Jimbo for shielding Winston if he was guilty. What would they have to gain by exposing themselves?

That's probably been going on long before Jumbo got there. Bowden wasn't the saint a lot of people claim he was.

I'm sure. Interesting though that they used the last 9 years. Jimbo has been there for 9 years.

Looks like we might as well hire Bill Cosby as Les' replacement

EXACTLY

The last 9 years, is that when the woman that said it got there? If not, this is some bullshite they are trying to desperately bring up. It won't do anything but get some silly fans and media to act stupid as usual when crap like this comes out. Just trying to damage his and LSU's character.

They are going to say it was done behind their back, they won't take responsibility for it.

Edit: I'm talking about the 19 that didn't hit national news. They will say they did an investigation for winstons case

I hope this shite blows all up in their face. I hope the biggest question in the media is why is all of this coming down right after he took a job elsewhere? Have they been sweeping it under the rug and buying time in hopes of finding someone to pin the blame on?

20 allegations of rape involving football players in the past nine years

So 2.2 per year. That sounds about right for rape allegations involving football players. Nothing to see here.

Now I understand why Jimbo wants out of there. The FSU administration is covering up some pretty serious crimes and he is not going to continue to be a part of that.

I can tell you the one thing about Jimbo and his TAF interview is you will is he was asked repeatedly about Winston situation before it was all done.

I was there in grad school when the whole Warrick and Childs thing went down. Everyone in that town did everything they could to keep those fools on the field. The president of the university finally put a stop to it when the local authorities decided to cut Warrick a deal and let him do time after the season. The fans turned on him quickly for trying to salvage the reputation of the school.

A judge who was a Nole fan cut his charges down to misdemeanors and Childs was kicked off the team and made the scapegoat.

Nothing at FSU regarding player behavior or coverups would surprise me.
