Looks like the one on top is running as well. Looks like it's just lit up in white.

it is, not sure why you think that's funny. had the east upper deck expansion matched the new south, no one would be complaining about anything. the south was ver well done. it just doesn't match the east which makes everything look hodge podge

You contradict yourself bro.

Just a thought.... have a long term plan when you start a renovation. You cannot tell me that LSU lacks the ability to make a master plan.

I agree that the south is the best of the three had it been first. BUT because it was the last of the three and is completely different than the east and west, it is... unfortunately .... poorly planned and out of wack with the other additions

the other additions don't even match each other. i blame the administration for the lack of planning on the west, not for trying to match the original structure of the stadium with the new south expansion. i didn't contradict myself at all "bro." LSU screwed up on the front end, not the back end.

You realize you are saying that all three additions don't match. And that the new south does not match the original structure. ... yet you think the south, which again you say does not match, is the best of them...... can't believe I couldn't follow that

I'd bet a 3 piece white, ice cold drank and a large fry that you can produce no such rendering. Doesn't exist...

I don't think so either. I think people just assumed it would but they didn't have a rendering of that angle.

I'm no fan of the box but dear God it doesn't look as bad as what you've made it.

It looks pretty awful. They need to do something with it, whether it be championship banners or something like that.

unless you only see the stadium through a goofy filter on a GoPro affixed to a drone

I've never seen a rendering with all glass either. Some people keep mentioning such a rendering but I haven't seen it.

He must be talking about this. This was one of the first ones. Obviously he's wrong about it being all glass. You can tell the SE side is wall.

Or maybe this one. Still you cant see the wall in question.

Agreed. And the section glassed in the renderings is still mostly glass. I have never seen a rendering of "the wall." And looking at it now it isn't as bad it originally seemed in the infamous pic that has made its rounds on here. It was the angle and lighting. We never really see Tiger Stadium from the angle of that infamous pic. In some of the newer ground level pics it doesn't look nearly as bad.

No it doesnt and if they put some logo up (as long as it's done properly) it will be ok.

I think he means this one....

...this was the one Gen. Richard posted when the project was first announced.

I leave it to you whether that tower in that rendering is all glass or not.

Edit: looking at the top of that rendering, it appears as though LSU originally planned a gazillatron instead of the two corner screens.

Bottom line is there are a lot of good things in this expansion, but a whole lot of fail as well, which is really disappointing. I feel like they tried to cut a lot of cost, but if you're going to do it, do it right. One side of the building has glass, but the two other sides doesn't even have one window? How ridiculous is that? The lego blocks are bad enough as it is, but then you have some stucco & some brick? I mean what idiot can even come up with this stuff. Then you have half of the outside painted, but the other half you are going to leave bare concrete. I'm just mindblown how this could happen.

It doesn't look nearly as miserable when half of it is covered by trees... Still wish they did almost anything different.
