help my old eyes.is there scaffolding between the two scoreboards...maybe an LED display being installed?

I believe that they are going to install a ribbon LED on that wall, and I do think I see scaffolding there too.

If the west side had the colosseum affect none of this would even be a conversation. The west side is the issue. 'Colosseum' that side and we are all good. No one even sees the East.

For something that brings in over 100MM in annual revenue, I just wish the place looked like it had one universal design.

I think we all agree with you there, but that'll be another 100m dollar project

eta: I agree. Unfortunately Alleva has already said it's too costly right now. We have way too many other projects on our list to give a relatively modern project an overhaul

The new addition looks great but what were the architects thinking when the plans were drawn up for that god awful featureless wall? Any official answer to that?

Probably omitted the locker room pics because they didn't want a comparison to A&M's.

The locker room is miles ahead of where it was last season. Will you be happy if the locker rooms in the Ops Center are rebuilt to the likes of A&M or Bama?

Also A&M's locker room renovation was for their practice facility. why in the hell would we build our new satdium locker rooms as elaborate as A&M's when we only use it 7 times a year?

That is their Gameday locker room as well. Their ops building is connected to the stadium.

The scaffolding is over the Welcome To Death Valley sign.

We'll that's just circumstantial and lucky on their part. It would be really cool if we could blow the pmac up, building a new operations center connecting to the stadium, and build "the house that Ben Simmons built"

With 40 MM in pure profit about to start pouring in from the SECN, I expect everyone in the conference to expand everything massively.

Sec facilities will rival nfl facilities soon.

Just make it match

I'd say half are already better than NFL facilities. NFL teams don't have to recruit like the conference does.

Give it up. Expansion overall looks tremendous.

Are there some imperfections here and there? Sure. But you're letting the couple of minor flaws ruin what should be and is an exciting and proud moment for LSU fans alike. Tiger stadium is looking better, bigger, and more historic than ever.

And oh BTW, in any project of this size, the few things that don't turn out as well as expected usually get corrected/fixed in time.

Nah, not going to give it up.

The exterior looks terrible, can't be sugar coated

If we complain enough, maybe they'll put up a huge painted mural.

That could work

Yes, the "white" wall on the building looks out of place and pretty bad. For now.

But I 100% disagree that the rest of the south exterior looks terrible. To the contrary, it looks fricking amazing.

Fair to say we have different tastes. I think it looks like a big huge wall of profit for the construction company.

i mean if you think it looks terrible you are being pretty ridiculous. It looks great. The white wall on the offices definitely needs some kind of logo or something and im sure in time they'll do something to make it look better.

I agree about the white wall, and I also agree that the cement blocks inside need some work, but other than those two minor, easily fixable things, this expansion looks amazing.

Tiger Stadium has been upgraded, and it looks better than it ever has.
