YEW TAKE ‘AT BACK! JOE BURRA IS A GOOD MAN!

I think it’s awesome that Coach Wade was so instrumental in putting this together.

You’re trying too hard on your trolling lately man

Expressing an opinion I don’t like would be him claiming that Amanda’s is better in gumbo than Rabideaux’s, in which case no, I wouldn’t turn on him.
If, however, he did something on a large scale that would serve to discredit or dismantle an entire set of ideals that are designed to make all people equal and free in a competitive environment which makes my corner of the Earth shine like a bright star along with the scores of people that it represents, then yes, I would 100% turn on him.
But even the, I wouldn’t begrudge him receiving the deserving recognition he would be entitled to for his accomplishments on the football field.

Good lord, get over yourself. Your perspective isn’t the only legitimate one and you don’t have all the answers. If you disagree with someone that’s fine but to lash out, dare i say cancel, someone for their beliefs....people who have given more to LSU than you could ever dream about, is pathetic.

TL;DR
Don’t pout because it’s somebody else’s birthday.
It was wonderful to be at the Mahmoud Abdul-Assembly Center today. Sorry haterz!

Believe it or not, not every LSU fan is a hardcore conservative
Amen. I don't even agree with most of your political posts, DS, but the teeth-gnashing and pearl-clutching about this stuff is exhausting, and like you said, pathetic.
And not to thread hijack, but if PSG turns the Dortmund tie around, I might consider posting on the soccer board again.

Look, all I know is that the fatty content and extra smoke of Rabideaux’s makes a gumbo way more succulent and round than any other smoked sausage out there. If you think I’m being an elitist because I stand by my beliefs, then so be it.

Yall need to remove religion and politics from sports
if you can appreciate Chris Jackson because he doesn't share your religion then you might need to answer to whoever presides in your heaven.
if you don't like a player because he doesn't share your political beliefs, then you are part of the problem in this country
Congratulations to Chris Jackson..... I don't need him to be a Christian. It was a great tiger and by all accounts is a good dude and family man
You can appreciate that then maybe you don't belong in this country

Jackson, at the time, and Abdul-Rauf now, was an awesome player to watch.
Sure. I think his whole shtick that he pulled after changing his name was kinda pathetic but, that's a completely different issue in my head.
I can say, "man, loved watching that dude play" and "man, not really a fan of the dude personally" at the same time.
I've long since come to terms with the reality that a lot of the dude's I enjoy watching wear the purple and gold aren't people I'd have over for dinner and I'm totally OK with that.

You wouldn't have Chris Jackson over for dinner? Would you have his name was abdul-rauf? Why not?

he refused to stand for "The Star-Spangled Banner" before games, stating that the flag was a symbol of oppression and that the United States had a long history of tyranny.“
Yeah, great guy.
But since he can shoot a really smooth shot and played for LSU, we ll over look that.
He’s a nut job commie pinko who hates America. Screw him

I don't care if people are Republican or Democrat, but they should all show respect for this country and the men and women who died for it.
