Appreciate your time with us. This guy is very good and helped with sideline decisions.
We'll miss you, Good Luck with the Jets and appreciate the way u handled your departure.

Pure Class.

Thomas sounded like he was a little tired of recruiting on 104.5 just a couple minutes ago

I bet everyone on LSU's staff is completely worn out. Even "No Sweat FlipLes" looked a bit tired yesterday morning.
What a grind these guys had this year and what a job they did.

LSU should take them all including their families to a very warm place for a nice long weekend.

Wish we could have kept him but I'm glad he is back where he wants to be. Wish nothing but the best for Coach McGaughey.

He did an excellent job, and this is a solid move for his career.

Plus, change can be a good thing. Grimes plus TG's replacement will give the staff a new look, new blood, new recruiting avenues to explore, etc. So far, this has been a good off-season for the Tigers.

My bad. I meant the addition of Grimes and whoever replaces McGaughey could very well end up being a net positive.

I think they get paid enough to take themselves anywhere they want to go.

We have had some dominant special teams play under him. He earned the promotion. I'm happy for him. Just hope we can find an able replacement.

Good Lord, you people keep finding new ways to fit "Les is an idiot" into the narrative, don't you? SMH

How the hell did you make that connection? He was complimenting the special teams coach not putting down miles in the least bit. Get your insecure arse out of here.

If any of you were ACTUALLY at the games....you would have noticed McGaughey. He had great presence and appeared to be the HC. He will be at some point, I predict. STs coaches do help with things on the sidelines. They must have the correct team ready to go in at a second's notice. Are we punting???? Clock management comes into play...remember? That is part of the job. This is why you do not just stick a coach in there as STs coach...just because he is a good recruiter. Some HCs coach STs, for this reason. There are many different calls for returns, punts, Kick-offs...This is not a slam against Miles, just an explanation from someone with experience.

Rat and Top

There is not a bigger supporter of CLM in here than me. I think he is terrific for LSU. In fact, I think he is the best, we couldve hoped for when we signed him. This was never, ever, meant to be a backdoor slam at CLM, rather it was an appreciation for CTM, only. Period.
Many HC's in all levels have a guy next to them for information input and decision confirmations.
