The rant wanted him benched before the season. Now, the rant is praying he plays against florida.

how did we want him benched if we didnt know he would be starter until injuries occurred. Nice thread tho asswipe

you must not read the rant. Before the season there was thread after thread talking about he isn't one of the best five. Brumfield needed to play center. He was a whipping boy for the rant coaches who know more.

This is 100% true. I, for one, was not sold on Cush heading into the season. I wanted Brumfield to start at center with Ingram and Lewis as the guards. Obviously the Ingram suspension changed things.
Very happy to see Cush step up and seize his opportunity.

He was White team starter in spring game, took 1st team reps all through fall camp. Listed as C in the pre-Miami depth chart.

Pretty wild that Cush was a last minute signing in 2016 due to the numbers working in his favor. Now he may be our most important OL.
