Excellent decision young man. Way to give up your Senior year of College to be a 7th rd pick to a team that picked an O lineman in the 4th rd. Whomever gave the advice to go pro is brilliant. Downvote away...dont give a frick. Its the truth.

But its the “culture” of the program to leave early. What a fricking disgrace. As bad as Trev Faulk

Do kids deep down care about LSU or more about $$$ in the NFL?

Point: None of these guys should have left early

Counterpoint: I wouldn't want to play for Ed Orgeron either

What kind of money is Clapp making? He may be practice squad. It was an awful decision.

Agreed. I barely watch it like I used to. Way different game than what it was just 8-10 years ago.

Dude is probably drafted in the 6th or 7th round next year anyway, so he didn't hurt his stock... Now Key could have come back and improved his stock

Clapp already graduated and got his degree, can’t fault him. The real idiots are Tolliver and Weathersby.

Clapp needed to show teams he can play 12 games. Kid is fragile.

The young man earned a degree from LSU. Maybe he has more to look forward to than football. Did you hang around campus for an extra year after graduation? Or did you even graduate?

Weathersby and Toliver on the other hand...

Sports media in general is. I used to love waking up early on a Saturday and watching College Gameday all morning and now I can’t even stand their shitty arse format or hour-long sob story segments.

ESPN is basically politics-lite when they’re not covering the same 3 athletes and teams, and college teams in all sports just aren’t as talented or big as they were 20 years ago due to the popularity of leaving very early for the draft, even when that decision is questionable.

Sad time to be a sports fan. Hopefully there will be a culture change sometime soon and things won’t keep going downhill

You people suck! Absolute worst people on this earth! Kid played 4 years for his state school and graduated. What you morons don’t understand is after 3 years of starting tape he is what he is. Come back for another year to maybe go in 6th round and risk injury? And instead of congrats he gets crapped on by you idiots.

I bet you felt like a real jack arse when you found out he already graduated. Don't even try to say you already knew that either.

So another year under an oline coach who won a super bowl and is known to coach up some great olines wouldn’t help? I think another year could have helped him
