Let's see now sonnyboy. LSU leads in the 4th quarter until our qb, rb, mlb, center, and best db who had shut down the biggest bama recieving threat ALL go down. Then LSU is denied the chance to make a comeback on one of the most horrible officials calls of the last 20 years.

I have tried to fight off the Gumps on the SEC Rant for 3 years now. I have thrown out all the flames at them: "ULM", "Utah", "haven't won anything", etc.

But it's time to face the fact. Nick Saban has turned them into a dominant force in the SEC and on the national scene. When is the last time an SEC team won 24 straight regular season games? Do you really think that they are about to take a huge step back? Do you think the big recruits will look at their head coach and our head coach and say, "I choose LSU because they are the better coached team."

I don't care how many people Bama loses, Saban has stocked piled great recruiting classes for 3 years now, and they will reload next year. By the way, their offense will be awesome next year.

Sonnyboy, 99.99% of recruits go to a SCHOOL. It isn't the coaching staff, it's the school whether you want to admit it or not. All the coach does is get in the door and get the kid to campus. If all it was was the coaches then every kid would want to play for Pete Carroll who, by all accounts, is the biggest shmoozer on the planet with the kids.

I dont understand why people are sucking saban's dick? If he is such a great coach then it doesnt matter who we hire we will never beat bama. They will have down yrs, they will have injuries, and they will get screwed by refs just like every other fricking team in the country. We might as well just scrap the football program since we will never beat sabama. Give me a freaking break.

Ok, but still he had one great season at LSU. We won the sec with him as a 3 loss team. Bama will not go undefeated yr in and yr out. They were obviously the best team in the sec THIS yr. He still lost to ULM and UAB. HE is not the most perfect coach, but a lot of people make him and his teams out to be unstoppable. that is far from the truth while he was at LSU. So if he couldn't do that at LSU how will someone equal to him be able to that? Im just trying to understand people's logic. Why even play the game if we had no chance of ever winning the west?

oh and sorry you are wrong about fans not wanting saban back. Day one of his job at bama people on here have said how Saban would come back in a heartbeat or how they would take him back in a heartbeat.
