This is feeling like that 1987 (1983?) NFL strike season where even Sean Payton made a roster. That was a fun season, actually.

Major League Baseball has a legitimate minor league system which allows players to sign a contract after high school graduation. Why doesn’t the NBA and NFL do the the same? Of corse, it is cheaper for the NBA and NFL to use college sports as their substitute for a minor league, enabling them to pay the extremely high player salaries.

Agree and have said as much since he transferred. Particularly in terms of fitting the offense they want to run. He's a natural passer with a good feel for the game. And he should be just be a true soph so he's basically on pace now whereas he was ahead.
