By the end of his show he had shifted to collecting to help pay medical expenses.
For the BR folks yes of course the guy is kind of a radio hack. I did however buy his outrage at the attack and his passion to try and help.
Time will tell if he actually sets something up thru the station to donate.
To the WV folks Richard Condon hosts an afternoon drive time sports radio show. The link I posted was to the stream of his broadcast. Clearly this is a hot topic in BR among those who are aware of the attack and while he did not have a well defined plan to assist the victims, his concern is genuine
We will see if anything comes of it.

I posted this on the SEC Rant, thought I'd share here as well. I am the original poster that started this Sunday night. Thanks to Tiger Droppings, this story got out.
For those of you that are concerned.
Surgery went well, he was released today and is at home recovering. They are working with the authorities to get this trash off the streets.
West Virginia University has been extremely helpful and she asks that we let everyone know this.
Also doing a lot of media work - Hannah passes this link along as the most accurate story to date.

agreed if anything it makes it look worse, if folks were indeed beaten in bumper to bumper traffic it kinda blows the theory that some WVU defenders have made that this happened in some secluded not well lit lot that almost no one uses and that is why WVU fans did not witness and rush to the aid of the victims.
If what 304eer posted is accurate they were beaten in bumper to bumper traffic and no one else in the bumper to traffic bothered to help.

besides the battering of a pregnant woman, this is what I find the most disgusting. Just leave out the fact that this idiocy happened after a football game and they were pulling for different teams.
Where in the hell were the people with cell phones or guns or bats in their cars? Hell if just 3 or 4 occupants of those vehicles gets out and yells at these bastards, it might have scared them off! For frick's sake just ACT like your phone has video and hold it up and point it at them...tell them u are filming.
I get that girls and women or fathers with young children didn't do anything but in bumper to bumper traffic? NOBODY did anything?
They just watched. And when traffic moved on, so did they. Wow. A curb-stomped bleeding man with a pregnant wife...

I don't know what a PI is going to do that the cops aren't already doing. Unless they're putting it on a back burner, and we have no indication they're doing that.
